Puttur, Nov 17, 2016: A newly married woman dies falling into a pond  accidentally at Kodimbadi village in Puttur on November 16, Wednesday.

Pushpa (28), wife of Ashok Gowda, a resident of Meginahitlu is the deceased. Ashok was a mansion had married Puspa just four months ago.


It is said that Puspa had been to field to fetch grass did not return back home . Ashok’s mothers was worried and went in search of her.  She found her footwear lying near the pond , but not traced her . They suspect that she might have fallen into the pond accidentally.


Case has been registered in Puttur Police sation.

Whether it is superstition or not elders usually say that w shouldn’t move near the pond during noon. But now we have ask may her soul rest in peace .
