Puttur, Sep 23,2016 : In a tragic incident, a second PUC student of the Durgamba PU College at Alankaru has reportedly committe suicide by hanging himself to a cashew tree in the plantation belonging to his family at Pattemajalu village near Kadaba on September 21,  Wednesdy evening.


suicide hangingThe deceased is Kiran (17). So far the exact reason behind his extreme step could not be ascertained. He was the son of Pattemajalu Rajeev Poojary. His family and friends also could not cite any reason for Kiran’s suicide.


It is said he was good in studies. Incidentally, Kiran who met several of his frienmds earlier that day  as it was a holiday for college in view of the exams to be held the next day, had   ended life after returning home, that too after informing his friends about his decision to end life. In fact, he had left home after telling his mother that he would be visiting his grand parents’ house.

Though his friends rushed to the spot and took him to hospital in an ambulance, his life could not be saved.

The Durgamba College declared a holiday on Thursday in respect of the departed student.Kadba police have registered a case of unnatural death.
