Belthangady: July 3, 2015: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) activists allegedly attacked the ABVP secretary for protesting against unbiased probe into Akshata Murder case which was organised by ABVP.



The protest was organised at Belthangady on Friday July 3.

It is learnt that ABVP secretary Swasthik was on his way back home after participating in the protest. A 5-member group belonging to NSUI abused and assaulted him near Melanthabetty College. Swasthik was severely injured and was taken to Belthangady Government Hospital by the locals.


The 5 people who assaulted him are Kumar, Adarsh, Naveen, Nithesh and Rajesh.


A case has been registered against all 5 accused at Belthangady police station.
