Protest rally by VHP against ‘Anti-Hindu’ stance of Congress Govt on Jan 1

Mangaluru, Dec 29, 2014: A protest rally led by Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt will be taken out from the Sharavu Sri Mahaganapathi Temple to the DC office on January 1 to condemn the ‘anti-Hindu’ policies of the state government, informed MB Puranik, VHP leader. He said the rally will be organised by the VHP and the Bhajrangdal.

Puranik said a protest meet will be later held near the DC office. He charged the Congress government of harassing the Hindu community and deplored the act of the state government in withdrawing the bills on cattle protection proposed by the erstwhile BJP government.

Puranik said several members of Hindu outfits from DK, Udupi, Kodagu and Kasargod will take part in the rally which will also be participated by nearly 1600 Sadhus.

Gopal Kuttar, VHP leader, Praveen Kuttar, Sharan Pumpwell,Kateel Dinesh Pai and other leaders were present at the press meet.
