Mangaluru, Sep 01, 2017: Bajarang Dal  and Vishwa Hindu Parishad on September 01, Friday at Kadri ground held a protest as part of  awareness drive for boycotting Chinese products and burned some Chinese goods.


Puranik addressed the protest saying that,"As common citizen, we must support our country’s economy by boycotting Chinese products.With the Chinese government using its military might against India, as citizens, we should ensure that we do not help the Chinese economy to grow".

Chinese lighting and decorative items are used in almost every household during Diwali,Customers  switch to it as they are attractive and cheap in the market.If we consciously decide to buy local products, it will boost our own economy instead of contributing to the Chinese economy. Soon the action will be taken on the cracker industy at Sivakasi, said  Sharan Pumpwell.


They boycotted by burning these products strongly condemning it.Chinese items are not expensive and that is why there is a huge demand for these. The government should ban the import of these items, and incentives should be given to domestic manufacturers to keep the prices low.


M B Puranik, Sharan Pumpwell, Gopal Kuthar,  Praveen Kuthar, Pradeep Pumpwell, Bhujanga Kulal, and others were present.
