Proposed ’surgical strike’ against Yettinahole is ’politically motivated : CM

Mangaluru, Jan 20, 2017: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that the surgical strike against Yettinahole project planned by the protestors was nothing but a politically motivated act.
Speaking to media men at the Mangaluru International Airport on January 19, Thursday, the CM said he has already held a meeting with the anti-Yettinahole activists as well as elected representatives of the region at Bengaluru on the issue.
Alleging that the Rs 1782 crores of flood relief announced by the Centre has not yet reached the state, the CM urged State BJP Chief Yeddyurappa to prevail upon the Centre to release the grants.
