Mangaluru Aug 27, 2016: Fire broke out due to gas leakage from the cylinder in Prashanth Canteen at Pumpwell today August 27 Saturday.
It is said that, early morning at around 6:30 am public noticed thick smoke coming out from Prashanth Canteen and informed fire brigades, fire tenders arrived to the spot and doused the fire.
Mangaluru rural Police rushed to the spot and are investigating the cause of fire.

| We have to usually make a habit of turning of the gas cylinder at night before vacating the shop as it is risky . Because during the day if there is any leakage it can be detected but at night usually its unpredictable. | |
