Mangaluru, Aug 02, 2018: The poster of Shakthi Residential School and Shakthi Pre-University College  at Shakthinagar was released by KC Naik, Managing Trustee of Shree Gopalakrishna Temple on August 1, Wednesday.

 

 

 

Addressing a press meet convened in this regard at the College auditorium,  V K Talithaya,  Advisor of Shakthi  Education Trust, informed that the  foundation of the residential school and PU College was laid in 2015 and that they have been approved by the government this year. The school and college have now started functioning, he added.

The  two institutions functioning under the aegis of Shakthi Education Trust aims at offering the highest quality of education to the students while also helping in their overall development, thus helping them face the competitive world. Presently  the Residential school offers admission for classes 1 to 5 while the P College offers  courses in Science (PCMB and PCMC) and Commerce steams. Next year, the school will have classes from sixth to eighth standards. Presently  the school c has 50 students in classes from I to 5 and  an equal number of students in PUC courses.

The modern classrooms of the Pre-University college are air conditioned and have a capacity to seat 70 students, Talithaya informed. The College also offers integrated coaching for various competitive exams including NEET, CET and JEE.

The institution is located on a sprawling  4 acre camps with a full-fledged school building and administrative block.

The Shakthi Residential Schools offers CBSE curriculum and has class rooms equipped with smart boards,   CC Cameras, student lockers and public address system. The school also has a full-fledged library, he informed.

Shakthi Education Trust also offers  full-fledged hostel facilities for its students.
