Mangaluru, Sep 16,2016 : Veteran Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary has announced that he would be organising an Urulu Seve at the Shree Gokarnanatha Temple, Kudroli on September 18, Sunday to seek divine blessings to restore peace in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu over the Cauvery water issue.
Speaking to reporters here on September 16, Friday, Poojary said several Party leaders, members, anti-Yettinahole activists, devotees and religious leaders will offer Urulu Seve.
On this occasion, Poojary also extended an invitation to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for the Urulu Seve and said the CM should attend the programme if he has love towards Congress workers, six crore Kannadigas and also the great saint reformer Sri Narayana Guru. Poojary also invited everyone irrespective of caste and creed to participate in the Urulu Seve.
Referring to the letter written by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to his Tamil Nadu counterpart, he said it has not yielded any result.
