Poojary celebrates Indira Gandhi birth centenary in a unique way

Mangaluru, Nov 19, 2016 : Senior Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary celebrated the birth centenary of late prime minister Indira Gandhi in a unique manner on November 19, Saturday. He distributed fruits to inmates of Prashanthi Nilaya of Jeppu Seminary, Jeppu St Antony’s Ashram, Konaje Abhayashrama and children of Saanidhya School for Special kids at Kulashekhar.
Addressing a function held in this connection, Poojary described Indira Gandhi as a great leader who had true concern for the poor. "She had made me a Union Minister to serve the poor. I helped the poor by arranging loans for them," said Poojary.
Sachin Miga, President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Kisan Cell, JR Lobo, MLA, Vijaykumar Shetty, former MLA, Kallige Taranath Shetty, senior Congress leader, Nagaveni, Appi, Sabitha Misquith, Asha D’Silva, Corporators and many others were present.
