Police detain two notorious thieves in Puttur

Puttur, Sep 14, 2016: Puttur police detain two persons namely Basheer and Ashraf  wanted in many theft cases of two-wheelers  and robbery at shops.

Basheer is a resident of Kodangai Radahakatte and Mohammmed Ashraf of Kadambu.

Ashraf Basheer’s brother, an auto driver was arrested by Puttur police on 02 September, when he was selling the stolen
items at Kabaka near Puttur  is said.

During investigation Ashraf revealed Basheer and Mohammed Ashraf’s names as they had accompanied in the theft.  They were taken to custody immediately and stolen goods have been recovered from them.

Investigations are underway.
