Mangaluru, Feb 03, 2017: The Dakshina Kannada police have arrested a pickpocket who stole an ATM card and Rs 8,700 from a devotee at Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala.

pick pocket.jpThe arrested person Srinivasulu, 25, a resident of Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, after robbing Lokesh, a resident of Bengaluru, went to Mangaluru and tried to use his ATM card at a jewellery store.

Police who recovered documents of the gold purchase and CCTV footage available at the shop, went to Chittoor and arrested him.

They have recovered the ATM card and cash from him.

When you visit the places of worship be careful about your belongings as some come not o seek the blessings but to rob othrs valuables .
