Mangaluru, Jan 09 2017: People of Karnataka are hoping for a political change in the state during the next elections, said Union Minister for Steel Birender Singh.
Addressing party workers at the District BJP office here on January 9, Monday, he exhorted the BJP workers to strive for the party’s victory and added that even the people of the state are showing inclination towards BJP.
Continuing, he said with the BJP already in power in 19 states, Karnataka is set to be the 20th state where BJP will be in power. The Union Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is steering the nation towards growth through its various revolutionary measures, he said.
Accusing the Congress of pushing the nation backwards, he said the party which speaks about women’s empowerment has revealed its true colour by withholding the Triple Talaq Bill.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, District BJP President Sanjeeva Matandoor, ZP Chief Meenakshi Shanthigodu, former MLAs Rukmaya Poojary, N Yogish Bhat and others were present.
