Passport Seva Kendra in Kasaragod, to open April 1

Kasaragod, Mar 30, 2017: A new Passport Seva Kendra at Kasargod kerala, across the Karnataka border near Mangaluru will become operational from April 2017,thereby fulfilling the long pending demands of people from the district and adjoining areas.

On a trial basis, the Seva Kendra functioned on March 29. Ten applicants had submitted applications and three appeared in the office during verification process to avail passport and other services through the new Kendra.

Around 12 people will be employed at the Kendra including four staff members.

In the initial stages, 10 applications will be processed in a day which is likely to be increased to 150 by August 15, confirmed officials at the Kendra.

May be less crowded in Mangaluru Passport Office hence forth as another one has come up in Kasargod

It is goo that Passport Office have come up in Kasargod , this will at least avoid rush or lengthy ques in Mangaluru
