Mangaluru, Dec 24, 2016 : A wine fest, organized by the Karnataka Wine Board is on at Panambur Beach, Mangaluru, December 23-25. Ravindra Shankar Mirje, Chairman of the Karnataka Wine Board, said, “The fest is organized in association with the Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project and the Karnataka Horticulture Department.”
He added that about 10-12 wineries would showcase more than 200 brands during the fest. Sources say that the fest was being organized in order to create awareness regarding wine grape cultivation and also to provide exposure to the wineries from across the state.
