PUC result announced. D K scores the top position While Udupi comes second

Mangalore, May 23, 2012: Vishveshwar Hegde Kageri, higher education minister, announced the results of the State Pre-university exams on May 23, Wednesday in Bangalore.

He told reporters that the state has recorded a result of 57.03 percent, adding that the result has improved 8 percent compared to last year.

Stating that it is the best result in the past 10 years, he said that arts and commerce students have improved a lot and the girls have far excelled the boys.

Mangalore is the top scorer in the state. While Udupi has bagged the second place, Kodagu has bagged the third place, and Yadagiri has bagged the last place.

 

 

The arts topper of the PU exams has scored 569 over 600 marks, the commerce topper has scored 591 over 600 marks, and the science topper has scored 593 over 600 marks.

The overall pass percentage for arts is 50.04 percent, science is 58.24 percent, and commerce is 65.68 percent.

While the pass percentage for girls is 74 percent, the pass percentage for boys is 45 percent.

The pass percentage of DK is 85.70 percent and that of Udupi is 85.32 percent.
