PFI flays Hindutva outfits, demands ban on them

Mangalore, Aug 9: The Popular Front of India (PFI) staged a protest in front of the DC office on Aug 9, Monday, demanding strict action to be taken against fascist Hindutva organization, which it alleged to be responsible for bomb blasts and communal violence in the country.

Illyas Mohammed Thumbe of PFI, the chief guest of the event, said in his protest speech that the PFI is observing “Save India Day” throughout the country. He declared that the PFI is ready to save India from the evil clutches of Hindu extremists who he alleged to be responsible for several bomb blasts in the country killing hundred of people. 

He said that CBI probes have revealed that Hindutva outfits such as Abhinava Bharat, Sanathan Sanstha, VHP, Shri Ram Sene, and RSS are responsible for bomb blasts in Samjautha Express, Makka Masjid, Ajmeer Dargah, Nanded, Kanpur, Modasa, Malegaon, Goa, Hubli, and others. He said that many Hindu extremists are walking free although some of them have been arrested and interrogated in this regard. He urged the concerned authorities to investigate these anti-national elements. 

Prof Pattabhirama Somayaji, English lecturer at Mangalore University, said that several RSS members have led terrorist activities and that the matter has now come to light. Labeling Narendra Modi, the chief minister of Gujarath as a criminal and terrorist, he said that Mr. Modi’s statement that “All terrorists are Muslims” is false. He also added that Hindus are not terrorists, but only the supporters of Hindutva are terrorists. He urged the government to ban Hindutva outfits.
