Mangaluru,Nov 03, 2016: Popular Front of India staged protest outside DC office on November 03, Thursday against the arrest of Bengaluru district PFI President Hashim in connection with RSS activist Rudresh murder case.
Addressing the protestors District President of PFI Hanif Katipalla said that, on October 20, RSS activist was hacked to death in Bengaluru, soon protest was erupted by BJP demanding the arrest of PFI. Police arrested four people and revealed that old rivalry triggered the murder.
But BJP blamed PFI leader and demanded their arrest for the involvement in murder case. PFI president Hashim is innocent and he is not involved in murder case, said Hanif.
He also said that, BJP and Sangha parivar are trying to divert the case. PFI is active in organizing various social programs and helping for the deprived.
He recalled the murder of Manjunath in Shivamogga and Harish Poojary where PFI was blamed by BJP and Sangha Parivaar and later it was proved that there was no such involvement in any of these cases.
This clearly shows that BJP and Sangha Parivaar unneccessarily dragging PFI to such cases. We will fight for the justice and strongly believe in the law that Hashim will be proved innocent.
