PFI accuses cops of arresting ’innocent’ in Charan murder case; demands his release

Mangaluru, Aug 29,2016 : Activists of the Popular Front of India along with some locals staged a protest near the mosque at Moodushedde Edurupadavu on August 28, Sunday demanding the release of a person named Saifulla who has been arrested in connection with the rowdy sheeter Charan murder case.
The protestors claimed that Saifulla who was arrested on Saturday was innocent . They also threatened to picket the Mangaluru Rural Police Station if the DCP did not meet them. Finally DCP Shantharaju who met the protestors assured to undertake a thorough probe into the case.
Meanwhile, security around Mangaluru Rural Police Station was tightened to ensure that people did not gather in the place for a protest.

| With what proof they are saying that the guy arrested is innocent? Never support on the basis of community, becuse if he is involved and you people are trying to defend him, one day or the other he will go on with what he had done in the past. | |

| Why is the public interfering now? Without any suspicion the police do not call for investigation? Even if you haven’t murder but if you were present with the criminals u will be interrogated by the police . Once your identity is clean u will be left back. | |
