Mangaluru, June 06, 2020: As many as 30,835 students have registered for appearing for the SSLC examinations to be held from June 25, said Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh.
Presiding over the SSLC examination preparatory meeting held at her office on June 5, Friday, the DC said the KSRTC will be offering free bus services to the students and that they can produce their hall tickets to travel free of cost.
The district will have 95 examination centres with 19 additional examination centres also kept as standby. Each room will have 20 students. All students will be subject to thermal screening, if any student is symptomatic then he or she will be made to appear for examination in a separate room. A total of 102 rooms have been kept ready and all rooms where exams will be held will be sanitized, she added.
As many as 345 students from Kasargod who are appearing for the exams will have to show the hall ticket at the border to enter the district.
The students will be provided free masks donated by Scouts and Guides and G Shankar Trust, DDPI Malleswamy.
The SSLC exams will be held until July 4.
The DC also informed that the pending English examination of Second PUC will be held on June 18 and 26,704 students will appear for the exams.
