One dead, another injured in Head-on collision between two bikes

Suratkal: August 9, 2015: In a tragic accident, one person lost his life and another person was seriously injured after their bikes collided head-on on Saturday night in Suratkal.

The deceased has been identified as Pratheek(27)  from Krishnapura, while the other rider who sustained serious injuries has been identified as Naveen

According to the sources, Pratheek was over speed and overtook another vehicle and allegedly rammed into Naveen’s bike which was coming from the opposite direction.

Both the riders suffered serious injuries. Pratheek died on the spot while the Naveen was admitted to a nearby hospital.

A case has been registered at local police station.
