Belthangady, May 24, 2015 : State Health and Family Welfare Minister UT Khader has said that the government has decided to replace nearly 150 ambulances (108 Arogya Kavacha) that have run for more than 5 lakh kilometres.
Addressing press persons at the Block Congress Office on May 23, Saturday, the Minister while lauding the Anna Bhagya scheme introduced by the state government for the benefit of the poor, also gave a pat on the back of his own party’s government for conducting a one of its kind socio-economic survey recently.
He said the present government has taken strong measures to curb illegal sand mining unlike during the regime of the BJP.
On the Shirady road works, he said there has been a delay in the work due to untimely rains and assured that the works would be complete within the next 45 days.
