Novel protest by Mallikatte residents against unscientific laying of road

Mangaluru, Oct 21, 2015 : A man dressed in skeleton costume demonstrated the dangers which roads and medians which have been constructed unscientifically posed to  pedestrians and motorists alike,  during a novel protest staged by residents of Mallikatta and nearby areas  against the dismal state of the roads  in Mangaluru on October 20, Tuesday.

 

 

 

 

The residents even have submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner  about the unscientific  construction of the road and median from Vas Bakery to Mallikatta stretch resulting in frequent accidents.The memorandum even pointed out that the median had cracks at several places as vehicles have crashed against it often.
