Sullia, July 19, 2017: JD(S) leader and former minister H D Revanna has denied reports of a rift in the JD(S) family and said that the party would fight the next assembly elections under the leadership of its Supremo Deve Gowda and State Chief Kumaraswamy and would field its candidates in all the 224 constituencies.
Revanna was speaking to media men after visiting the Kukke Sri Subrahmanya shrine and offering prayers to the Lord on July 18, Tuesday.
The party has already begun to mobilise support and strengthen its organisation at booth level, he said adding the selection of candidates would be done by the Core Committee comprising of senior leaders.
Referring to the problems of farmers, he said the Union and State Governments should take measures to ensure that farmers are free from debt.
Revanna offered Ashlesha Bali Seva at the shrine. He was accompanied by his wife Bhavani and son Prajwal.
