In response to a journalist’s query regarding the recent attacks on mining industrialist Tapal Ganesh in Bellary, Mr Singh said that the media is presenting the wrong information about the Reddy brothers, adding that illegal mining does not take place in Bellary.

Regarding the international airport, which has been sanctioned to Bellary instead of Hospet, the MLA said that the airport has been sanctioned to Bellary because of its flat landscape. Moreover Hampi, which is a place of great historical significance, will be just 45 minutes away from the sanctioned Bellary Airport, he pointed out.

The MLA also said that the government is supporting all the developmental activities in Bellary.
