Nitte (Deemed to be University) among top Universities in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings

Mangaluru, April 22, 2021:     Nitte (Deemed to be University) is placed in the rank band of 100-200 among participating Universities from all over the world in three categories of the Impact Rankings 2021 released by Times Higher Education(THE) on 21st April 2021. With a Top 200 ranking in Good Health and Well Being, Gender Equality and Clean Water and Sanitation, Nitte University was overall among the Top 400-600 Institutions globally in 2021.

These rankings assess Universities for their social impact based on the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by all members states of the United Nations Organization (UNO) in 2015. These goals provide a framework to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings uses this unique framework for recognizing the efforts of Universities towards achieving these goals. The rankings assess the efforts of Universities towards sustainable development through teaching, research, outreach and partnerships in 17 different domains. The Times Higher Education group is an international organization which publishes one of the most influential World University Rankings.

Nitte (Deemed to be University) is also ranked 74th in NIRF 2020, features in 401-450 rank band of QS Asia University Rankings and has recently been graded “A+” by NAAC.
