Nitin Gadkari to discuss progress of highway work in Dakshina Kannada tomorrow

Mangaluru, August 26, 2018: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has called a meeting in Delhi on August 27 to review the progress of highway development works under Dakshina Kannada Parliamentary Constituency, according to Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament.

The officials of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Navayug Udupi Tollway Pvt. Ltd., the concessionaire widening the National Highway 66 between Talapady and Kundapur, have been invited to the meeting at 6.30 p.m. The meeting would also discuss the immediate steps to be taken to complete the pending works.

It would also discuss Shiradi Ghat works, and the projects to be taken up under Bharat Mala and Sagar Mala in the district, he said in a release.
