New Tulu movie Aamait Asal Eemait Kusal released in city theatres

Mangalore, May 4, 2012: The highly anticipated ‘Aamait Asal Eemait Kusal’, the first Tulu movie produced by Surya Menon and Ranjan Raghu, was released across Mangalore on May 4, Friday.

Ranjan Shetty told reporters at Central Talkies that the idea of making a Tulu movie struck them when they were students at Whistling Woods Institute. He said that they then waited for the perfect script and Vijay Kumar Kodialbail supported them a lot.

Speaking about the movie, he said that they have put in their best efforts in producing it. The competition is high as there are two Tulu movies running in theatres of Mangalore now, this will also help the public identify the better movie.

This is the first movie launched by producer Surya Menon and director Ranjan Raghu Shetty under the banner of ‘Yodha Entertainment’. The story of the movie is based on Shakespeare’s ‘Comedy of Errors’.

Enthusiastically speaking about his debut movie, Jyothish Shetty said that he is excited about the movie and the shooting was great fun. He also said that the entire movie crew was like one big family and the director and the producers are warm-hearted people.
