Navodaya releases CD of children’s songs Jigitha Gijang

Mangalore, May 5, 2012: Navodaya Team released a children Song CD ‘Jigitha Gijang’, consisting of children group song & Karnataka state Patriotic song.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on May 5, Saturday  Clifford Leo D’souza, Director and Composer of the music album said that Rev. Fr. Roman Pinto, youth Director (Shimoga Diocese) and Stany Jog joined hands in composing.

    

Programming, recording and mixing of the CD is done by Shinoy. ‘Jigitha Gijang’ has got 11 beautiful children’s action songs sung by talented 11 children along with 3 male and 2 female singers.

He also said that the title of the CD is derived from Bengali word and is the word used by children during the play. Young singers Melvin, Samson, Jenish and Varun were present at the press meet.
