National Service Scheme (NSS) unit inaugurated at Vikaas First Grade College

Mangaluru, Jul 30, 2019 : Mr. Ganesh K., Vice Principal and HOD, History Department, Sunkadakatte Shri Niranjana Swami First Grade College, inaugurated the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at Vikaas First Grade College, Mangaluru, on 27 July 2019 in a programme held on its campus. He spoke about important principles and goals of joining NSS at the college level and pointed out that social development must be the main aim of NSS.

 

 

Mrs. Ayshwarya K., Principal, Vikaas First Grade College, presided over the function. In her presidential speech, she explained the history of the inception of NSS in India and also pointed out how the participation in the activities of NSS will shape the personality of a student.Mr. Ajith Rai, NSS Unit Coordinator, Vikaas First Grade College, administered the oath for NSS volounteers.

Mr. Parthasarathi Palemar, Coordinator, Vikaas Group of Institutions and Dr. Manjula A. Rao, Dean, Vikaas Group of Institutions, were the guests of honour of the function. Mr. Chidanand K., NSS Student Coordinator, welcomed the gathering and Ms. Deepti, Cultural Leader, proposed vote of thanks. Ms. Prathiksha, NSS Student Coordinator, compered the program.
