Mangaluru, June 27, 2016: It is reported that rationalist Narendra Nayak has said that the police should arrest all those involved, indirectly or directly, in the murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga.   Nayak, who has consistently led the protests demanding speedy investigation into the case, said that he and other activists had worked with the police to make it difficult for Naresh Shenoy, the prime accused in the murder, to evade arrest.

Narendra Nayak...“He was sustained this long from arrest only because of some well-connected persons were shielding him,” he said.  Nayak also added that the police would arrest all those who helped Shenoy evade arrest. Nayak said that he was yet to fully study the several RTI applications filed by Baliga.

“I would like to personally pursue some of applications filed by Baliga and take it to logical conclusion.” Baliga had meticulously preserved each application he has filed,Nayak mentioned.
