Nagma Fareed Malik appointed as ambassador to Tunisia

Mangalore, May20, 2012: Nagma Fareed Malik, who was recently appointed as the new ambassador to Tunisia, will take over her new post soon.
An IFS officer of the 1992 batch, Nagma is strongly associated with Mangalore as she being the niece of noted Kannada writer, Sara Abubakker. She is the daughter of Mohammed and Zola of Kerala who are now settled in Delhi.
Mohammed and Zola have 3 children and all have achieved success in various academic fields. While Nagma passed the IAS, her elder brother is an engineer in US and her younger brother is a wing commander in the Indian Navy.
Nagma has served in the Paris office of the Indian Foreign Affairs Ministry as a UN representative and in the embassies of Shri Lanka and Nepal . Before her appointment as the ambassador to Tunisia, she was in the Indian embassy in Bangkok.
