NAIF honors top SSLC and PUC scorers

Mangalore, Aug 5: The New Age India Forum (NAIF) organized the valedictory ceremony of Education Cell and the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad and Dr. Allama Iqbal award ceremony at Town Hall on Aug 5, Thursday. Awards were conferred on five SSLC and PUC toppers of 2009 – 10 during the programme.

 

 

 

Principal of Badriya College Dr. Ismail N. inaugurated the event and spoke about the important role played in money in the education of an individual. Declaring that DK district has shown a distinct rise in educated members of minority communities, Dr. Ismail said that only a minute percentage of Muslims are educated and willing to work for the welfare of society. All the top scholars were not rich when they were students, but amassed their wealth with talent and hard work, he said.

Managing Director of Fiza Group Bangalore B. M. Farooq, President of Hidaya Foundation Khasim Ahmed H. K, and Convener of Education Cell Wasim Ahmed Pandeshwar were the chief guests.

Leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Shaul Hameed and Secretary of NAIF Adil Pandeshwar were the dignitaries on the dais.
