N. Vinay Hegde releases book on Late V.S. Kudva, hails his contributions

Mangaluru, Nov 28, 2014 : Dr. N. Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University released a book entitled “V.S.Kudva-His Life &Times” authored by Rtn. M.V. Mallya at a function held at Ocean Pearl in the city on November 27, Thursday under the aegis of the Canara Foundation.

The Kannada version of the book was released by K.T. Pai, General Manager of Syndicate Bank Manipal. Late V.S. Kudva was also the Founder Director of Syndicate Bank.

In his address, Vinay Hegde recalled the contributions of Late V.S. Kudva and described him as a man who revolutionised the automobile industry in the region. He had also played a pivotal role in the print media, he said and recollected his association with Late Kudva. Vinay Hegde also described Late Kudva as his role model.

Srinivas Kudva, President of The Canara Foundation, presided over the function. The author of the book MV Mallya was honoured on the occasion.Dr. B. Devadas Rai, past Rotary District Governor, spoke on the contributions of Late. V.S. Kudva.

B.S. Baliga, Director of Lamina Suspension Products Ltd, Premnath Kudva, Secretary of the Canara Foundation, Ravichandra Rao, General Manager of Canara Workshops Ltd, Umanath Bhat, Deputy General Manager of the firm and others were present.
