The much-awaited Konkani movie Kazaar was screened today at Adlabs, Bharath Mall, Mangalore. 

Bishop of Mangalore Diocese Fr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza released the movie and wished it all success. Roy Castelino, Fr. Nelson Pinto, Eric Ozerio, Larry Fernandes, Jagadeesh Athikari, Richard Castelino, Rohan Monteiro, A J Shetty, Gabriel Vas, Frank Fernandes, and Nagaraj Shetty were also present.

National award winner Dr Richard Castelino directed Kazaar. He said that he is sure that the movie will become a hit among the Konkani-speaking people. Kazaar is the debut movie of Larry Fernandes, the son of Frank Fernandes who produced it. The lead actress is Harshita Poonacha. The co-artists Mithesh, Savia, Larina, Reena, and Vipin are from Mangalore. 

Wilfy Rebimbus and late Mickmax composed the lyrics. Wilfy Rebimbus and Ragdev set the music. Vijay Bharathi is the music director. The playback singers are Radhika Menon, Hemanth, and Rony Crasta. 

Kazaar has been set in the beautiful regions of Chomkudru in Madikeri, Mangalore Airport, Goan beaches, Dona Paula, Karwar, Someshwar Beach, Pilikula, and Kings Cottage in Madikeri, to mention a few. The movie revolves around the tale of a Konkani family
