Puttur, June 12, 2017: In a case of moral policing reported from  Golithadi in Kadaba  on the night of June 10, Saturday, a young man and a woman belonging to different communities who were proceeding towards Kudulur from Uppinangady were attacked by some people.

moral-police If the youth named Balaraj (48) is a rubber tapper and hails from Aithur village, the girl was from Somawarapete in Kodagu district.

The two were targeted when their motor bike developed a technical snag at Golithadi. Locals who saw them began questioning and eventually assaulted  them.

According to the lady,  she was on way to the house of Iqbal of Kudulur  had to travel with Balaraj as Iqbal who was  engaged in prayer could not come to pick her up. She also told that she travelled with Balaraj, a friend of Iqbal at the latter’s behest.

Kadaba police have registered a case.

We have to ask one;s religion before getting close to a person. How stupid , Never give importance to religion , it is the uneducated brute who get into such matters

What have the guys to do if the man goes with the woman of other community . This type of mentality creates problems and provokes in to rivals
