Mangaluru, May 12, 2016 :  It is indeed a proud moment for  the Lazarus family at  Neerude village near Moodbidri. The  second daughter of Lazarus and Nancy Felcy D’Costa couple who  has succeeded in the UPSC exams with 387th rank, is now the pride of not only Moodbidri but also the entire district.

Michelle   had her primary and high school education at St. Francis Xavier Higher Primary School, Neerude and Little Flower Secondary School at Kinnigoli.

She completed her pre-university course  at Alva’s PU College and later did her Engineering in 2011 from R V College of Engineering.

The young engineering graduate always aspired to join the civil service and her father Lazarus has been a constant support to her  by bringing to her notice reports of  good works done by civil servants.

This is Michelle’s third attempt and she says she had attended tutorials  in Delhi to prepare herself for the Examination in Kannada Literature and General Studies.
