Mangaluru, May 01, 2018: "Though Prime Minister Narendra Modi is claiming himself to be a friend of farmers his government has not released a single penny for waiver of farm loan. The Karnataka Government on its part has waived farm loans out of its own money," said Chief Minister of Puduchery V Narayanaswamy.
Addressing press persons at the District Congress Office here on May 1, Tuesday he said the Karnataka Government led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has fulfilled 98 % of the promises made by it to the electorate prior to the previous elections.
The Siddaramaiah Government has created a conducive atmosphere for industries as a result of which 24% of the investment is coming from abroad, he stated.
Lashing out at the BJP, he said it was nothing but unfortunate that the Prime Minister Modi and BJP President Amit Shah had projected a corrupt leader as its CM candidate. He also accused both Modi and Shah as opportunists.
