Miscreants dash into Infant Jesus Church door; incident kept secret

Mangalore, July 12: Two miscreants dashed their bike into the main door of the Infant Jesus Church in Bikarnakatte on July 9, Friday at 4 in the evening. The door is totally damaged. The culprits escaped the scene when the church security apprehended. However, the church authorities have chosen to keep the matter quiet.

The church security guard informed the police; and the Kaikamba police arrested the two people and later released . The accused are reportedly working as the driver and conductor of a city bus in Mangalore.

Reliable sources said that the miscreants had not consumed any alcohol while dashing into the door of the church as against the police story. The authorities have kept the matter a secret and the reasons for the secrecy are not known.
