Minister U T Khadar miraculously escapes as car rolls down gorge

Kasargod, Feb 23, 2015: State Minister, U T Khadar who hails from Ullal miraculously emerged uninjured after the car he was travelling in uncontrollably rolled down a 30 feet gorge. The accident occurred just after midnight 12.45 am today Monday February 23 at Kalkatta here. It was stated he was returning to the city after taking part in a programme at Montepadavu, Manjanady. His car hurtled down a 30 feet deep gorge.
The minister had a miraculous escape, as he came out unscathed. His driver, Mohan, suffered minor injuries. Khadar’s personal assistant, Libzath, who was accompanying him escaped injury. The car was badly damaged. Just yesterday ’Mangalore Today’ had reported the Minister rescuing road accident victims and personally taking interest in their treatment.
Khader later told reporters that he was fine and did not make any changes in his programme for the day.
