Minister S T Somashekar visits KMF milk dairy at Kulshekhar

Mangaluru, Nov 16, 2020:     State Minister for Co-operation S T Somashekhar visited the  DK District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union  dairy  at Kulshekhar in the city on November 15, Sunday and reviewed the functioning of the dairy.

 

 

 

Later, speaking to reporters, the Minister said the Chairman and other office bearers of the Union have brought to his notice the fact that the   Kulshekhar  dairy land was    functioning on a  leased land also the need to get its ownership. The minister assured to discuss the issue with officials concerned and initiate appropriate action.

DK  District Co-operative Milk Union President Raviraj Hegde said the around 12 acre land of the dairy was  a leased out land and said  the Union  wishes to  have the ownership of the land.

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath who was also present  assured to   assist in this regard.

Dr S T Suresh, Managing Director of the Union and others were present.
