Mangaluru, June 19, 2015:   Inaugurating ’Saal Ek Shuruaat Anek’, Union Minister for Chemicals & Fertilisers Ananth Kumar inaugurated a seven-day exhibition on various schemes of the government at Hindi Prachar Sabha, at Lalbagh here on June 18.

Ananth Kumar said that  NDA government is a government of poor. There are many schemes for poor and efforts are made to see that they benefit all. The exhibition of 80 panels consisting of photos and write-ups in Kannada and English will be held in 200 places across the country.


A  mobile van with audio and video will disseminate achievements of government in more than 20,000 places. The achievement of the government in one year is a record. India has been raised to new levels.  The government media agencies like Press International Bureau, drama division, All India Radio, Directorate of Field Publicity and Doordarshan also participated. The seven-day exhibition will continue till June 24.

Speaking to media in the interim, the Minister said that the Central government has agreed to allow Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilisers (MCF), SPIC in Tuticorin of Tamil Nadu and Madras Fertilizers Limited to run the process with Naphtha. With the government nod to continue the operations of MCF with Naptha, around 5,000 employees of MCF need not feel unstable about their jobs and farmers will continue to get ’Mangala’ urea.

The Centre is ready to open ’Janoushadhi’ medicals in every district and taluk hospital. There is provision to open more than 250 centres in Karnataka and the Centre is ready to release Rs 2.50 lakh to each centre. I have discussed  the matter with Health and Family Welfare Minister U T Khader from past six months, there is no proper response.  

Members of Ramakrishna Mission, Mata Amritanandamayi Mutt and others were appreciated for cooperating with Swachh Bharat movement.   ’Hejje Gurutu’, a book on the achievements of PM Modi and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel was released. Meanwhile, Ananthkumar and Nalin Kumar were felicitated by MCF workers.
