Mangaluru, Sep 27, 2018:  New Bishop of Mangaluru Diocese Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha  has said that the media can help the society tread the path of righteousness when it lays more emphasis on  publishing  good thoughts.

Interacting with the media at Sandesha Foundation  premises on September 26, Wednesday,  he urged media to  highlight good deeds and the works of those who strive for the betterment of society. He also appealed to the media to shun glorifying crimes.

The Bishop further spoke about his Bandhutva initiative  wherein people of all walks and spectrum of society are brought together to promote peace, harmony and brotherhood.

The event was compered by Fr Nelson D Almeida, Director of Sandesha Foundation.
