Massive landslip at Jodupala near Sampaje; one body found; 4 missing

Sullia, Aug 18, 2018: A massive landslip on a hilly terrain at Jodupala located in between Madikeri-Sampaje on Friday night is feared to have caused several casualties.
While the body of one person who was buried alive under the slush was recovered on Saturday, sources say at least four others including women and children are missing from the area.
The body of the deceased is yet to be identified. Meanwhile efforts are underway to trace the bodies of others who are feared dead.
