Married lovers from Bengaluru attempt suicide at Kodi beach; critical

Kundapur, March 16, 2020:    Two lovers both of whom are already married to someone else and also have children, attempted suicide by consuming poison at Kodi beach on March 15, Sunday. The public who noticed the two  struggling with pain have rushed them to hospital. Both are said to be in a critical state.

 

The two have been identified as Ramesh Kumar (45), a resident of Hanumanth Nagar, Bengaluru and Pavitra (32) his neighbour.  Ramesh has two children, while Pavitra too is a mother of two kids and her husband is a  taxi driver. Even Ramesh owns a car and is a taxi driver.  Pavitra’s husband on coming to know about their affair had reportedly deserted her a week ago.

Aghast at the development, Pavitra and Ramesh had come to Kodi beach where they attempted to end lives.

Pavitra’s brother-in-law who arrived from Bengaluru  has now admitted her to Wenlock while a  relative of Ramesh has taken him to the Manipal Hospital.
