Manjeshwar MLA Kamaruddin arrested in cheating case

Kasargod, Nov 07, 2020: Manjeshwar MLA M C Kamaruddin has been arrested by a Special Investigation Team on Saturday in connection with a cheating case. Earlier the Special Investigation team led by P Vivek Kumar had questioned the MLA at the District Police Office.
It has been gathered that the MLA was arrested after the investigation team could lay hands on some vital information regarding the case.
The cheating case is relating to Fashion Gold International Company owned by the MLA. It has been alleged that the company had accepted deposits from around 700 people and had cheated many to the tune of several crores of rupees.
