Mango Exhibition cum sale, Pilikula Vasanthothsava on May 21,22

Mangaluru May 20, 2016: Karnataka State Mango Development and Marketing Board, Bengaluru and Dr Shivarama Karanth Pilikula Nisargadhama will jointly organise “Mango Exhibition cum Sale and Pilikula Vasanthothsava on May 21st and 22nd at Urban Hyat in Pilikula.

Addressing the Press at DC office on May 22, Friday, Executive Director of Pilikula Nisargadhama S A Prabhakar Sharma said that variety of mangoes including Alfonso, Badami and Mallika will be displayed during the exhibition. Different varieties of Jackfruit such as all season Sadanand, Raaja Rudraksh  and Chandrabakke  will also be on display.

  Indian Institute of Horticulture Research, Departments of Horticulture, Forest and Agriculture, Alva’s Foundation, CAMPCO, KMF, KFDC, Savayava and Swavalambi Balaga will also be a part of this exhibition.

Indian and foreign fruits such as Rambuton, Mangosteen, Durien, Jabotika, Velvet Apple, varieties of Apple, Thailand Guava, Palms, Peach  apart from various medicinal fruits, plants and seeds along with organic vegetables and fruits will be on display during this exhibition.

DC A.B. Ibrahim said that  the event will serve as a platform to exhibit as well as market good quality  fruits.
