Mangaluru’s first ever hackathon sees over 180 participants

Mangaluru, Oct 19, 2015: The first hackathon campus edition  event  held in the city on October 18, Sunday saw the participation of over 180 enthusiasts from various colleges.

 

 

Nidhish Hosabettu, Co-Founder of Start-up Mitra, an online platform for innovators and start-up entrepreneurs informs that   as part of the hackathon participants   wrote codes to solve a problem. He also states that candidates from winning teams  have been offered jobs or internships by two start-up companies of Mangaluru and Bengaluru.

The organisers of the event informed that they  have plans to make hackathon a regular event  in Mangaluru which has 22 engineering colleges and over 7000 computer science students.
