Mangaluru, March 13, 2016: Planet SKS, city’s tallest skyscraper, a project of SKS Netgate LLP was inaugurated at Kadri Hills at a colourful ceremony on March 12, Saturday. Vimala Shetty, Leelavathi Hegde and Susheela Shetty, mothers of the Directors of the firm, inaugurated the project. The Ground plus 35 floored project has a total of 169 flats of three and four bed rooms. The structure has been built by Larsen and Toubro Ltd on a 4.55 acre land with aluminium formwork technology. Only 10 per cent of the total land has been utilised for the building which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 175 crores.
District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai, Senior RSS leader Dr Prabhaker Bhat, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Chief Promoter Shashi Kiran Shetty, co-promoter Sanath Shetty and others were present.
The project has incorporated solar and wind energy to light up common areas and there is an on-site sewage treatment plant. Rain water harvesting system has also been adopted.
The project features include party hall, spacious lobbies, swimming pool, indoor shuttle badminton courts, squash and tennis courts. It is a wi-fi enabled project with highly advanced surveillance system and video door phone facility.
