Mangaluru, July 24, 2016: Mangaluru was in the grip of the sensational movie ’Kabali’. Almost all 54 shows in the city at three multiplexes and a single screen (jyothi) ran to packed house. It was reiterated that ’Thalaiva’ ruled the audience once again.
Some who watched the first show at Jyothi Talkies said, "He is our ’Annai’. Rajini sir’s movie is like an epic and solace for us. We never miss and also manage to get the first day first show tickets."
Many said they applied for a day’s leave to watch ’Kabali’ in Mangaluru. Many said they have been Rajinikanth fans for years, and have admired him. One person said he learnt to read and write in Tamil, to understand Rajini’s movies up front. Kabali is a hit and a great movie, which will make waves around the world.
Yet a another fan was anxious to say he is the biggest fan of Rajinikanth. "I am impressed by his simplicity. This movie is both for classes and masses," he smiled. There were many views and all of them positive. One said that having too high hopes is the formula for a crash - Rajinikant seems the only figure in ’Kabuli’.
